Wendy has been working with horses since she was 12 years old. Her heart horse changed her life at a young age, and she never stopped working with horses since then. Being a lifelong horsewoman, she went on to study equine science and has also been trained in equine assisted wellness coaching. Her passion for horses and helping them heal is what drove her to begin Serenity Horse Rescue. When she's not working her full-time day job, she is pouring her heart and soul into this rescue. She not only loves helping horses heal, but she loves providing a place for people in the community to come to the barn and find serenity as well!

Sheilarae fell in love with horses at a young age. Like most little girls, she dreamed of owning her own pony, so when Sparkle, a Shetland Pony, showed up one day, all her dreams come true. Through the years the horses have only gotten bigger! Sheilarae not only runs a successful boarding facility, but she is also a horse trainer and provides a lot of assistance to the horses at Serenity!

Libby was born with a hoof pick in her hand and was practically raised in a barn. She and her mother raised appaloosa horses and were always helping horses in need. Her first rescue was a little Grey Miniature mare named Duchess. After meeting Wendy and having firsthand knowledge that most equines end up in bad places, she jumped at the chance to join the board of Serenity Horse Rescue and provide even more help to horses in need!
