Wendy has worked with horses since she was 9 years old. She has not stopped advocating for horses since her heart horse changed her life at a young age. Being a lifelong horsewoman, Wendy studied equine science and has also been trained in equine assisted wellness coaching. She is PATH certified. 

Her passion for horses as well as helping them heal is what ignited her to begin Serenity Horse Rescue. When she's not working her full-time day job, she is pouring her heart and soul into Serenity Horse Rescue Inc. Wendy not only loves helping horses heal, but also loves providing a place for people in the community to come to the barn and find serenity as well!

Libby was born with a hoof pick in her hand and was practically raised in a barn. She and her mother raised appaloosa horses and were always helping horses in need. Her first rescue was a little Grey Miniature mare named Duchess. After meeting Wendy and having firsthand knowledge that most equines end up in bad places, she jumped at the chance to join the board of Serenity Horse Rescue and provide even more help to horses in need!
